MEET ELVEDIN

Ever since I became serious with Yoga, it has been a way of dealing with life - managing challenges, growing, and aiming at the constant understanding of one's situation.

During my Yoga teacher training in 2021, I have become drawn to connecting movement and the body with Pranayama (breathing and the breath).

The combination of both has been my passion and focuses every since - in my personal life as well as in every class.

In my classes, I like to challenge my students to observe and improve the small things in the asanas, while never losing focus and breath.

I live and teach in Zürich, which I call home already since 2015.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Teaching not instructing
My goal is to teach and show each student with hands-on support, so they have added value for being in the physical class. Just instructing from the front is neither a goal nor a way of teaching for me.

Improving not observing

I give all I have to help each student to improve, correct, and strive for the optimal experience during my class. This involves small but important clues and corrections.

My Thai Yoga Massage journey started in 2022.

Thai Yoga Massage as a unique form of holistic health approach under the guidance of Krishnatakis as part of the international Sunshine Network.

WHAT IS THAI YOGA MASSAGE

Thai Yoga Massage (Nuad Phaen Boran) is an ancient, holistic therapy rooted in the traditions of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Buddhism. Often referred to as "Sacred Medicine" or "The Sacred Dance," it is increasingly recognized in Western cultures. This practice, also known as "passive yoga," is an ideal complement to active yoga and athletic routines.

Thai Yoga Massage seamlessly integrates elements of acupressure, passive yoga (stretching), joint mobilization, muscle manipulation, meditation, and energy work. This harmonious combination promotes health and preventive care.

The passive stretches stimulate the fascia and joints, positively impacting connective tissue and meridians, leading to a regenerative effect on the entire body. The massage induces deep relaxation, alleviates energy blockages at all levels, and activates self-healing processes. It primarily focuses on enhancing physical and mental well-being, ultimately improving quality of life.

The Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a futon on the floor, with the recipient dressed in comfortable, lightweight clothing.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

I offer individual massage sessions of 60, 90, or 120 minutes. It is generally recommended to enjoy a minimum of 90 minutes per session. This guarantees sufficient time to fully arrive in the massage, detach, and enjoy the process. 

Every session also comes with additional approx. 10 min. for consultations and introduction before the start of the massage and a relaxation phase of 5-10 minutes afterward.

90 minutes = 130 CHF

60 minutes: 100 CHF

120 minutes: 176 CHF

Elvedin is my favorite yoga teacher!
